As of July 2015, Vista Dental has been thriving in its new office location. Our patients love the convenient location for running errands before or after their appointment! Meet Your Dental Hygenist
When Jennifer was 14, she went to the dentist and fell in love with her hygienist. She determined that day she
would follow in her footsteps. She helped her to feel more confident in her smile and, therefore, more confident in herself. Jennifer will always appreciate her influence and will always strive to be the same type of compelling hygienist that builds confidence and trust. Jennifer has been a hygienist for 28 years and plans on continuing in this career path for many
years to come. The only dentist she ever wants to work for is Dr. Kim. She says ‘He is a man worth following. He
continuously works on being up to date with his dental technology and his integrity to his patients and he asks the same
of his employees’.

Jennifer has been married to Tom longer than she has been a hygienist. They were both raised in Sacramento, CA and have escaped the heat by coming to the Pacific Northwest and LOVES living in this area. Together they enjoy hiking and kayaking and suffer through jogging. "My daughters can walk backwards when they jog with me, I'm not very fast," says Jennifer about her jogging. Jennifer and Tom have two amazing daughters that are their joys. Their oldest daughter, Rachel, has relocated to Hood River and is working as a Optometrists' aide. Their younger daughter, Bethany, graduated from WSU, Vancouver and is working for a Non-profit organization in Portland.

Keegan Joy, RDA
Dental Assistant
When Keegan is not in the chair assisting Dr. Kim, he is probably coaching cheerleading. Keegan has spent 7 years coaching competitive cheerleading and is currently the head coach at Vault Elite in St. Helens Oregon. Between assisting and coaching, Keegan’s free time is limited. When Keegan is able to, he enjoys running, snowboarding, playing basketball and spending time outdoors on a beautiful Pacific Northwest day.
It's not very common to find a male dental assistant, but that's one of the many reasons why Keegan
enjoys being an assistant. In 2012 Keegan decided to attend school for dental assisting at Pima Medical Institute in Tucson Arizona. During his time at school he realized this profession was perfect for him and continued on to find a position as an endodontic assistant shortly after completing school. Keegan spent 2 years assisting in Arizona before moving back home to Washington in 2015. Keegan registered as a dental assistant in Washington and is loving working for Dr. Kim along with the great staff at Vista dental.
At the age of 18 Carol decided to pursue a career in the dental field. She attended an ROP dental assisting
program. Then further went on to get her Registered Dental Assistant license from the state of California. Although
Carol enjoyed working side by side with the Dentist, caring for patient’s treatment, she realized that she was more
interested inlearning the front office. Carol went on to attend several dental classes to better understand the steps
to work as a patient care coordinator. Carol enjoys helping patients get the best care and financial arrangements
for them, while maximizing their insurance benefits. She has been involved in the dental field for over 30 years
with most of her experience in the front office.

Carol recently moved to Washington from California due to a job transfer of her husband Jeff. Carol and Jeff have really enjoyed the hiking trails and scenery that Washington and Oregon have to offer. Jeff and Carol have decided to make Vancouver their permanent home by purchasing a house in a near by neighborhood. In her spare time Carol enjoys working in her garden and yard. Last year was the first time she had ever grown a successful vegetable garden. Carol has three grown Sons. Her youngest is serving our country in the US Navy as a hospital Corpsman. She is very proud of him. Carol and Jeff have two cats (Cali, Stasha) and one dog (Spartacus) who is their only grandbaby from her son who joined the Military.

Meet Your Marketing Director
Nicole is the newest member of the Vista Dental team and is excited to work for such a team oriented and friendly work environment! When Nicole started college she had no idea what path she wanted to go down. Exploring a few different majors including public relations and psychology, Nicole graduated with her degree in small business management. While going through school, Nicole worked as an intern for a wedding planning company where she quickly learned the industry and acquired over 500 hours of training and experience. After completing her internship, Nicole put her degree to use and started her own event company with a friend to start branching out of the wedding industry. Her biggest accomplishment with her company was being asked to plan a Thanksgiving dinner event for coaches and players of the NFL team the Pittsburgh Steeler’s.

Nicole is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Growing up, Nicole always knew she wanted to move west but had no particular place in mind. Her husband received a job offer in Portland, OR in the spring of 2014 so they loaded up their whole life into one Pack-Rat and two cars and made the drive to the Pacific North West! Since moving to Vancouver, Nicole and her husband have become passionate about rock climbing and refining their beer palette. In her free time Nicole enjoys spending time with her three step kiddos, husband and her dog. Nicole has loved all the artistic events and exposure that the area has to offer and is always looking out for the next concert or show touring through the area!
